When it comes to celebrating birthdays, there is nothing like the creativity and excitement, that goes into planning a themed party for a child. I was so excited to be asked to put together a Monster Pizza Party for this adorable birthday celebration for 6 year old Harper. The theme was inspired by the Monster Aracade Collection from Dogwood Hill, designed by the talented artist Rachel Rogers. With a vibrant color palette of aqua, red, and yellow, taken from the invitation color hues, this party was a feast for the eyes and a monstrous amount of fun.

Harper’s Monster Pizza was an adorable blast of the cutest pizza and monster decorations. As the boys arrived, they dove into decorating their own favor bags with googly eye stickers. At each place setting, tin buckets filled with pizza stickers, monster toys, and fun candy kept the festivities rolling. Airheads and Dum Dum suckers in red and blue were stacked on cake stands, accompanied by mylar pizza balloons. The cake by Olexas Bakery was a delicious centerpiece, and custom cookies by Postbox Sweets added a personal touch to the parting favors. With pizza, laughter, and memories galore, Harper’s party was a monster-sized success!
