From a party planner’s perspective, I had the privilege of designing numerous birthday parties. One of my favorites was this fourth birthday ballet tea party. I had a lot of fun collaborating with my client Jessica to create a lovely party for her daughter Elizabeth’s 4th birthday.

Party Decorations and Menu

As guests arrived, a charming pink balloon garland welcomed them at the door. This striking installation not only served as a magnificent backdrop but also instantly set the tone for a day brimming with fun and excitement.

To create a beautiful setting, Wild Things created the exquisite pink floral decorations. Attendees indulged in lovely arranged spread by my friend Courtney of Savor Style. Furthermore, delightful ballet-themed cookies from Postbox Sweets graced the occasion.

Party Activities and Favors

As a surprise, a ballet instructor twirled in, adding an extra layer of fun to the day. The young guests enjoyed their time at the tea party play set station. They were seated at tables with Julia Amory tablecloths and comfortably settled in children’s Chiavari chairs. These are my favorite chairs to use at kids’ parties, perfectly suited for ages 2-6. Each guest was provided with their own vase and flowers, allowing them to create their take home bouquet. The guests also received their own pink tutu for an additional party favor. This ballet tea party birthday was certainly one for the memory books.

Birthdays are undeniably special, regardless of the way they are celebrated. This ballet tea party created a birthday experience that will be cherished for years to come.
